For the first time, WFNS is participating in the Blue Nose Giv’er Charity Challenge, running Friday, May 16, to Sunday, May 18!
We’re raising funds for WFNS programming in general and making a commitment to clearing our minds and flexing our muscles with some good old-fashioned outdoor exercise.
Our small but mighty “The Run-on Sentences” team currently consists of WFNS Board President Joanne Gallant, and WFNS staff Oriana Duinker and Linda Hudson. Joanne and Ori are running the 5K, Linda is running the 10K, and we’d love to have company!
Here’s how you can get in on the fun:
Join our team!
Do you want to run, jog, or walk any of the Blue Nose races?
Register and select “Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia: The Run-on Sentences” when prompted to join a team.
You can ask friends and family to sponsor you to help us reach our collective fundraising goal—or you can just join without any obligation to fund raise. We’ll be so happy to have you either way.
Have you already registered to participate? You can still join our team retroactively by logging into your Race Roster account and selecting The Run-on Sentences.
Donate!
