Deanna Foster currently works at Dalhousie University, where she received her BA in History and English. Her non-fiction book, A History of Hangings in Nova Scotia, was released by Pottersfield Press in 2007 and became a local bestseller. She recently completed Into the Walls of Madness: Asylum of Nova Scotia, which looks at the institutions created for the care of the mentally ill.
Deanna’s passion lies in writing fiction. Her novel, Broken Ivy, is available as an e-book through Amazon.com
She is currently working on several other writing projects.
Deanna lives in Tantallon with her husband and two sons.
