Bretton Loney

Brief Biography

Bretton Loney is an award-winning former reporter, columnist and editor of The Daily News in Halifax and The Telegram in St. John's. Newfoundland. His journalism career began at the Halifax Chronicle-Herald.

He was born and raised in Bow Island, Alberta and has undergraduate degrees from The University of Lethbridge and The University of King's College. Bretton is a senior communications advisor with the Government of Nova Scotia. Bretton is currently working on a collection of short stories.
