• Biography

    Wolfville-born Susan Haley holds a Ph.D. in philosophy and taught at the universities of Calgary and Saskatchewan. Two of her novels, Getting Married in Buffalo Jump and A Nest of Singing Birds, have been made into movies for CBC TV. Her third novel, How to Start a Charter Airline, draws on her experience owning a charter airline in the Northwest Territories for nearly 15 years. Susan now lives in Black River, N.S., and has published several books with Gaspereau Press of Wolfville.
