A creative writing workshop focussed on telling life stories. Open to women/girls who identify as African Nova Scotian or of African descent. The workshop is part of a project by Understorey Magazine and the Delmore "Buddy" Daye Learning Institute. Participants may submit work to Understorey Magazine's special issue on African Nova Scotian writing. Facilitated by author/editor Lindsay Ruck and Understorey Magazine. 10 am until noon. Free.
