Atlantic Book Awards Society Fall Book Bash and Fundraiser Thursday, November 16, 2017/ 7-9 pm The Old Triangle Irish Alehouse, 5136 Prince St., Halifax The Atlantic Book Awards Society invites you to help kick off our 10th Anniversary season with our first ever Fall Book Bash fundraiser! This is a great opportunity to discover some of the latest and upcoming Atlantic Books in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. A great group of local authors will present their new books and participate in a fun mini-interview with our MC Chris Benjamin – Editor of “Atlantic Books Today”. Participating authors include: Alex D. Boutilier: “From 14th Colony to Confederation, 1749 -1867: Governors, Placemen and the Merchant Elite (New World Publishing) Carol Bruneau: “A Bird On Every Tree” (Nimbus Publishing) Angela Mombourquette: “25 Years of 22 Minutes” (Nimbus Publishing) Francis Mitchell (for Barbara DeLory): “Historic Halifax Streetscapes then and now” (New World Publishing) John O’Brien: “Oak Island Unearthed” (New World Publishing) Christopher Reynolds: “East Coast Crafted” ( Nimbus Publishing) Alice Walsh: “Last Lullaby” (Nimbus Publishing) The evening will also feature free munchies, some prize draws and other fun. You can also get a head start on Christmas shopping as we will be providing an opportunity to purchase the book titles being promoted. Admission is by donation at the door- $10 suggested amount.
